Why some states are blocked
Certain peptides cannot ship to certain U.S. states. The restriction is enforced at checkout, not after a package leaves the facility.
Hard blocks vs. warnings
- Hard block: the state restricts the SKU outright. Louisiana and Mississippi currently sit here for several compliance-flagged peptides. You can't proceed.
- Warning + acknowledgment: the state allows the SKU under specific conditions. California, New York, and Florida currently sit here for certain compounds — you'll see a yellow notice asking you to confirm you operate under the applicable exception.
Why
State pharmacy boards and the FDA update peptide restrictions on a months-to-weeks timescale. The per-SKU per-state allowlist is updated as those rules change. We surface the rule at checkout so you never wait for a shipment that can't legally arrive.
Exceptions
If you operate under a research authorization, an institutional registration, or another exception that the allowlist doesn't capture, email compliance@purityscience.com before placing the order. We can verify and override on a case-by-case basis.
